Publishing ethics & AI policy
A concise policy to protect authors, reviewers, editors and the publisher.
Duties of authors
- Submit original work only; no plagiarism and no redundant publication.
- List authors who made a real contribution and approve the final version.
- Disclose conflicts of interest and funding sources.
- Report methods and results honestly; do not manipulate images deceptively.
- Provide permissions for any third‑party figures/tables/photos.
Duties of reviewers
- Maintain confidentiality and do not share submissions.
- Declare conflicts of interest and decline reviews if needed.
- Provide constructive, actionable feedback (focus on science, not people).
- Flag suspected plagiarism, data fabrication or unethical research.
Duties of editors
- Ensure fair review independent of authors’ affiliation, nationality or seniority.
- Manage conflicts of interest and protect review confidentiality.
- Use screening tools (scope/format/similarity) and follow up on concerns.
- Make decisions based on review content and scientific merit.
Misconduct handling
- Allegations are assessed by the editorial office and proceedings editors.
- Actions may include requests for raw data, corrections, rejection, or notification of institutions (as appropriate).
- Serious cases may lead to withdrawal from the proceedings pipeline.

AI policy (text & figures)
- AI tools may be used for language polishing and formatting assistance, but authors remain fully responsible for the content.
- AI systems cannot be listed as authors.
- If AI was used beyond spelling/grammar (e.g., generating text, figures, code), disclose it in a short note.
- Do not submit fabricated references, data, or results (AI can hallucinate).
