Submission workflow

Proceedings pipeline (planned):

We plan to manage submissions and peer review using Janeway (editorial management system). Online forms are used for initial intake and routing. Each submission receives an internal tracking ID.

If the forms do not open, use the backup email: biotech-congress@yandex.ru

Important:
  • Proceedings track: English full papers (recommended ≥ 6 pages).
  • Abstract book track: abstracts/posters (short format).
  • Journal track: separate journal submission and journal peer review.

Peer review & editorial decision

A formal statement is available as a separate page. This is what editors and publishers need to see quickly.

Proceedings track (English)

  • Screening: scope + completeness + similarity check.
  • Peer review: at least 2 independent reviewers per paper.
  • Decisions: accept / minor revision / major revision / reject.
  • Revision handling: point‑by‑point responses; additional review rounds if needed.
  • Presentation requirement: accepted papers should be presented on‑site by at least one author.

Evaluation criteria

  • Relevance to scope and audience.
  • Originality and contribution (what is new).
  • Methodological soundness and reproducibility.
  • Quality of data presentation (figures/tables, units, statistics).
  • Clarity of writing (English quality) and structure (IMRAD recommended).
  • Responsible research practices and ethics compliance.

Ethics & AI policy

We provide a clear policy page and a downloadable guide (EN/RU). This is a strong trust signal for publishers.
